After graduating from Oregon Health & Sciences University School of Dentistry with a D.M.D degree, she was accepted into an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. During her military service, she was honored with two Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medals, the Admiral s Cup Award, 1st place at the San Diego County Dental Symposium, 1st place at the California Dental Association Table Clinic Competition and she has been published in the Journal of the California Dental Association.
