About Dental South

Dr. Peter A. Garchow graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1981 and studied dentistry at the University of Michigan, earning his dental degree in 1985. He maintains memberships at the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Garchow is actively involved with charity groups as well as many volunteer groups in the community, enthusiastically supports sports teams and is an active member of his church. During his spare time, he is kept busy with his wife and four children, as well as with outdoor activities such as fishing and golfing. Dr. Jeneen Shephard grew up in Rockford, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor prior to entering dental school. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2021. Dr. Shephard is a member of the Kent County Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association, and American Dental Association. Dr. Shephard also works with Miles of Smiles
