Dr. Vakilian has lived in San Diego for 20 years and has been practicing in Encinitas for over a decade. With a keen eye for details and unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Dr. Sherry Vakilian naturally gravitated to the field of dentistry. She received her undergraduate degree from University of California, San Diego. Looking for a change of scenery, she moved to the Bay area for her dental degree where she attended the prestigious University of California, San Francisco and graduated with honors at the top of her class. After dental school, she made the decision to trade in her peacoat for a sun dress and move back home to sunny San Diego. Dr. Vakilian prides herself on building personal relationships with her patients. Because she considers her patients family, she understands how important it is to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry. Dr. Vakilian’s commitment to continual learning is evident as she goes above and beyond the number of continuing education hours required by the Ame
