He received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from DeSales University. While at DeSales, Dr. Balthaser was a standout student and athlete, lettering in two sports, soccer and tennis, achieving conference all-academic honors in both, graduating Summa Cum Laude and being awarded the DeSales University President’s Medal upon graduation. Dr. Balthaser went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University School of Dentistry where he graduated in the top 2% of his class with Summa Cum Laude honors. He has achieved numerous awards of distinction throughout his dental career including the Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award for Clinical Excellence, the American Academy of Oral Pathology Student of the Year Award, the Philadelphia County Dental S
