Davtyan Medical Weight Loss and Wellness (dba Lap Band LA) is a Los Angeles-area bariatric and medical weight-loss practice led by David G. Davtyan, MD, FACS, FICS, board-certified in surgery and bariatric medicine. Founded over 30 years ago, it was among the first U.S. practices to offer the Lap-Band procedure after its 2001 FDA approval. The practice operates five Southern California locations (Beverly Hills, Glendale, Rancho Cucamonga, Fountain Valley, and Marina Del Rey) and also offers body-contouring procedures for post-weight-loss patients.
