Darshan Patel, DDS graduated with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy in 1998, then continued his education by completing dental school at the University of Oklahoma in 2002. While attending dental school, Dr. Patel worked as a pharmacist. He and his wife, Manisha, moved to DFW to be near friends and family; Dr. Patel has served Esthetique Dental patients since 2004. Away from work, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family, including his three children, or playing golf. He also pursues continuing education to keep up with the ever-changing technology and techniques in the dental field. Yes, x-rays use a very small amount of radiation and the exposure is very, very low. Dental x-rays are essential in helping patients of all ages, including children, maintain their oral health by identifying decay and other problems inside teeth and even in the jaws, areas that can be seen during a routine visual examination.
