About Danvers Dental Associates

Dr. Sorensen grew up in New York, where she was exposed to dentistry early in childhood due to her own dental health challenges. Each visit to the dentist created more curiosity about what dentistry was like, which led to a fascination with the profession. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and subsequently moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Providence, Rhode Island. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. She has trained at the Pankey Institute, and is currently advancing through the curriculum at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Sorensen practices a comprehensive range of dental procedures, but has a particular interest in esthetic restorations and surgical procedures.
