Dr. Wuyang Li started his journey in dentistry in China, where he received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) degree. He then moved to the United States and devoted himself in dental related studies. He earned his Master’s (M.S.) degree in Oral Biology and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Oral & Craniofacial Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. His research mainly focused on Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) tissue engineering and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD), resulting in multiple publications and a number of presentations at local and international conferences. In addition to his research accomplishments, Dr. Li has been involved in extensive clinical work. After earning his Ph.D. degree, Dr. Li received two extra years of dental training in the advanced standing program at the University of Pittsburgh and got his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree.
