Having been interested in health careers in high school, Dr. Jessica Peele's love for dentistry began with a volunteer trip to the Dominican Republic where she gained her first experience in the field. After obtaining a B.S. in Biology from UNC Chapel Hill, she took a gap period in Europe before heading back to Chapel Hill to attend dental school, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Peele was able to expand the reach of her education by organizing a dental service trip to Nepal. She was also involved in local community service throughout her career at UNC.
