Address: 1342 E. Primrose St., Suite B Springfield, MO 65804 Dr. Collins is a board-certified Ophthalmologist. He is a native of the Ozarks and attended Kickapoo High School and Drury College in Springfield, MO. Dr. Collins received his medical degree at the University of Alabama in 1994. He then completed his advanced Ophthalmology training at Louisiana State University in 1998. While there he was nationally recognized as The Best Cataract Surgeon by the American College of Eye Surgeons. After completing his training, he came back to the Ozarks and started his own practice in 1998. His practice has been growing for the over 20 years. Dr. Collins is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Missouri State Medical Association (MSMA), and the Greene County Medical Society. He regularly attends national meetings to stay on the cutting edge of ophthalmology.
