Dr. Akhondi received her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from CA State University, Fullerton in 1995. She earned her Doctoral Degree in Dentistry from New York University in 1999 and then continued to practice dentistry for two years in Manhattan, NY. Dr. Akhondi moved to San Francisco and worked as an associate for ten years in Fremont and San Mateo offices before opening this practice in San Carlos, CA. She has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. She has been living in Belmont with her husband and two daughters for the past 20 years. She loves the wilderness, hiking, biking, and camping with her family on the weekends. Born and raised in Foster City, California, Dr. Ota received her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology with a minor in Physiology and Behavior from UC Davis. Her dedication to academic excellence led her to pursue and achieve her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with high academic honors from University of the Pacific - Arthur A Dugoni
