He has earned both the Fellowship (FAGD) and the Academy’s highest honor, Mastership (MAGD) in the Academy of General Dentistry — distinctions achieved by only about 6% and less than 2% of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada, respectively. Attaining FAGD requires completing 500+ hours of AGD-approved continuing education (including 350 live-course hours) and passing a comprehensive written exam described as comparable in difficulty to board certification exams. Building on that foundation, Dr. Amini achieved MAGD through 1,100+ hours of advanced education, including 400+ hands-on/participation hours, with required training spanning 18 dental disciplines .
