About Central Jersey Medical Center

Central Jersey Medical Center (CJMC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides primary care, dental, and preventive health services for you and your family. We are a community-based center, guided in part by our patients, and focused on meeting the health needs of the people we serve. We offer interpretation and translation services, transportation help for those who need it, and on-site pharmacies with discounted prescription medications. Since 2001, CJMC has been part of the Perth Amboy community, caring for patients of all ages from babies to seniors. In 2005, we partnered with Newark Public Schools to bring more medical, dental, and mental health services to the community. Our school-based health centers in Newark are open to everyone you don t have to be a student or related to one to receive care. In 2024, we expanded by opening a new two-story medical center in Carteret, NJ. This helps us reach even more people with quality, affordable healthcare. CJMC is one o
