The Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery is a Sacramento dermatology practice founded in 1981 by Emil A. Tanghetti, MD as a practice devoted to diseases and surgeries of the skin. It was among the first office-based practices to adopt lasers, beginning in 1994, and treats vascular lesions, wrinkles, unwanted hair, tattoos, and sun damage alongside medical dermatology for acne, rosacea, psoriasis, and skin cancer. Cosmetic services include Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, IPL and laser skin resurfacing, and RF microneedling. The practice maintains an active clinical-research program and has published studies conducted with its own lasers and medications.
