Dr. Michael Zhou joined Carson Dental & Cosmetic Centre as an Associate Dentist at the end of 2023. Originally from California, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry. His educational background provided a strong foundation in science, critical thinking, and patient-centered care, ultimately leading him to a profession he finds both challenging and deeply rewarding. Dr. Zhou was drawn to dentistry because it uniquely combines science, problem-solving, craftsmanship, and meaningful personal interaction. He enjoys working with his hands and helping others, and dentistry allows him to do both every day. For him, the most rewarding aspect of the profession is seeing the positive impact dental care can have on a person’s life—whether it’s relieving pain, restoring oral health, or helping a patient regain confidence in their smile.
