The COASC provides same day surgery to well patients allowing them a faster recovery in their own home. CarePlex Orthopaedic Ambulatory Surgery Center is governed by a six member Board of Directors, is certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, and licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as an Outpatient Surgical Hospital.
