He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Mississippi State University and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. Dr. Grubbs was raised in Prentiss, MS. After graduating from Mississippi State University, he graduated from the School of Dentistry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
