Dr. Kim grew up in Southern California’s diverse natural landscapes and surrounded herself with inspiring mentors. One of Dr. Kim’s most influential mentors was her dentist. Through the encouragement and guidance of her mentor, Dr. Kim applied to dental school and realized her passion for public health and bringing back smiles.
