BU Dental is the practice of two dentists who believe understanding comes before treatment, and that a calm, personal visit is part of the medicine. Two dentists, one philosophy. You'll see the same faces at every visit. Welcome to BU Dental, where Dr. Serah Uddaraju brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to general dentistry in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally hailing from New Jersey, Dr. Uddaraju completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology before pursuing a Master's in Biomedical Sciences and dental training at Rutgers University. Dr. Uddaraju sharpened his expertise through a rigorous two-year residency at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, specializing in treating complex cases. He then spent three years on the faculty of Touro College of Dental Medicine, where he led a group of thirty dental students on the clinic floor, mentoring the next generation of dentists, patient by patient, as they learned to deliver real care.
