He completed three year internship at Carolina Medical Lab in Charlotte, NC, where he served as an Assistant Medical Director, then moved to Texas to start his Family Medicine Residency, at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas Affiliated program in Wichita Falls, TX where he served as a chief resident, a core faculty, an Assistant Professor of family and community medicine at UTSW and Texas A&M.
