Dr. Zoulas was the only one born and raised in San Jose, California. Her mom is a teacher and is currently still teaching elementary school in San Jose. Dr. Zoulas had her first taste of the East Bay when she went to Mills College (’03). While she was at Mills, she met her husband, James, who was attending Cal.
