After high school, he attended Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. It was there he met his wife, Lesley who is currently a high school teacher at Indian Creek Schools. Following college graduation, Ben attended and graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. After moving back to Indiana in 2009, he followed in his father and brother’s footsteps and his life took a turn towards dentistry. Ben went back to school and completed dental school prerequisites at the University of Indianapolis and was accepted to the Indiana University School of Dentistry where he graduated in 2017. During that time Ben and Lesley had four children, Solomon, Harvey, Raleigh and Lucy. They also have a chocolate lab named Jack.
