About Bartlett Smiles

Dr. Brooklin Byrd Javins is a Memphis native. She received her Bachelor s Degree in general biology from Union University in Jackson, TN, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. While at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Javins served as treasurer for her class, and received awards for student research, community service, and clinical skills. Dr. Javins maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Richard Doggett Dean and Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is a member of the UT Dental Alumni Board of Trustees, and has completed her fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center s College of Dentistry, and is the dentist mentor for the UT College of Dentistry s Esthetics Study Club, a student organization focusi
