From your initial reception and dental hygienist consult to your final procedure with Dr. Barrera and billing your insurance, your experience will be efficient, stress-free, and painless all the way down the line! My dental career started by chance when I enlisted in the US Air Force in 1975. I was hoping to get into computers, but I became a dental assistant. After three years, I decided it was time to go back to school. Those three years were formative in my approach to dental care. I worked with many dentists and saw a wide range of approaches to patient care and comfort. I decided that I should reach my goal of becoming a dentist. I would make dental care as comfortable and pain-free as possible. I received my undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Southern California (GO Trojans). My denta
