Welcome to Balanced Healthcare, a concierge direct primary care medical practice where you'll receive high quality, personalized, convenient, and affordable healthcare to help you live a healthier life. The current healthcare system is struggling, but Direct Primary Care (DPC) is paving the way to help resolve the obstacles and frustration that burden patients and providers alike. Cora discovered her love for medicine while studying exercise science and psychology at Colorado College. She went on to earn her postgraduate degree in Physician Associate Studies from Pacific University in 2007 then passed the national exam to become a board-certified Physician Associate. She spent her first five years treating a range of acute conditions in urgent care and emergency medicine in an underserved area of Iowa. Since 2011, Cora shifted her concentration to family medicine where she focuses on preventive health and managing chronic illness while continuing to utilize her skills and knowledge in
