About A.W. Health Institute

A.W. Health Institute is a family-owned naturopathic medicine clinic in Tempe, Arizona, founded in 1996 by the late Dr. Curt Maxwell. Since his passing in January 2020, the practice has been run by his son Dr. Allen Maxwell and co-owner Dr. Aalia Avelin, offering hormone balancing, thyroid care, regenerative pain injections, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and IV therapy. The clinic also provides acupuncture, functional medicine lab testing, and natural aesthetics services.
