About Avon Family Dentistry

Dr. Doran was born in Ireland and shortly thereafter moved with his family to the United States. He grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut where he graduated from Greenwich High School. Dr. Doran attended Western Connecticut State University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. Following his undergraduate education, Dr. Doran attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Upon completion of his dental degree, Dr. Doran spent an additional year of training in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. It was there that Dr. Doran expanded his skills in treatment planning, implant dentistry, and prosthetic and restorative care. Immediately upon completion of his residency, Dr. Doran joined Avon Family Dentistry in 2004 and was invited to become a partner in 2008.
