Apex Skin, formerly Apex Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center, is a dermatology and medical aesthetics practice serving Northeast Ohio from 15 offices including Canton, Hudson, Mentor, Medina, Solon, Parma, Westlake, Avon, Concord, Lorain, Madison, Ashtabula, Cuyahoga Falls and Mayfield Heights. The practice runs two parallel service lines: general and pediatric dermatology with Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery and dermatopathology; and an aesthetics line covering injectables, dermal fillers, laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, microneedling, body contouring and medically supervised weight management. It was founded by Jorge Garcia-Zuazaga, MD, MBA, who is listed as founder and president, with Shannon McKeen, DO as medical director. The Canton campus occupies two buildings on Munson Street NW, with aesthetics services offered at 4240 Munson St NW. The practice also operates an in-house clinical research center.
