About Anthony P. Parrella, DMD

I want to introduce myself. I am Dr. Anthony Parrella. I was born in Boston and have lived in Massachusetts all my life. I received my undergraduate degree from Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA, in 1971, and was accepted into Tufts Dental School in Boston. After graduating from Tufts, I enlisted in the United States Air Force to gain valuable clinical experience and additional continuing education. I served a 2-year tour as a Captain at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, DC. It was a tremendous experience that truly shaped my clinical skills and sparked my long-standing interest in root canal therapy, a specialty I have enjoyed working with throughout my career. In 1978, I purchased an existing dental practice in Somerville, MA. I renovated it and have been practicing here ever since.
