Amara Skin and Wellness is a boutique aesthetics studio in Park Ridge, Illinois, in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. It was opened in 2024 by Sarah Hermanson, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, a nurse practitioner and certified aesthetic injector who relocated to Park Ridge in 2023. Her background includes injecting Botox for chronic migraine patients, a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Washington and additional training in dermatology. The studio keeps a deliberately narrow menu: neuromodulator and dermal filler injectables, microneedling with SkinPen and Skinbetter Science medical-grade skincare, alongside complimentary consultations.
