Dr. Calvin Yang is an aesthetically trained General Dentist who specializes in airway based dentistry, TMJ Therapy, and growth and development of the jaw. He is a Southern California Native who received his Cellular & Molecular/Microbiology degree at University of California, Santa Barbara and continued on to get his Dental Degree at University of California San Francisco. Since being in private practice for over 20 years he began focusing on Orthotropics and the advancement of airway dentistry in both children and adults under the most prestigious leaders in the field. While using a gentle approach focusing on guided growth and widening of the jaw to improve oral posture, airway capacity, and aesthetics, Dr. Yang believes that a better bite, improved facial profile, stronger jawline, and larger airway are all beneficial to the patient both in child development and long term health as an adult. It is often likely that early expansion can eliminate the need for wisdom teeth or bicuspid
