About Alaska OB/GYN Associates
Building relationships with my patients is a large part of caring for their health. I went to Colby College where I graduated with a degree in Biochemistry. I then went on to the University of Arizona for medical school. I completed a general internship in Spokane, Washington. During this time, I realized that I love minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. My residency experiences include a year at UCLA and the following three years at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. I found that I loved delivering babies to caring families and chose to pursue OB/GYN. After pursing my education and training, I returned home to Anchorage. I continue to stay active in academics as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Washington for which I precept medical students. My first two years practicing medicine in Alaska were spent working next door to my father, a now retired urologist who had practiced in Alaska since 1965.
