One of the youngest dentists to achieve the FAGD award, a lifetime achievement award that only 6% of all dentists accomplish. D r. Charles Sutera was born in the Boston area. He went on to attend Gettysburg College where he earned the prestigious Presidental Scholar Award each year of attendance. He then studied dentistry at Tufts School of Dental Medicine , and after graduating he has practiced in Portland, Boston, and Waltham, MA where he spent several years practicing dentistry with a focus in facial aesthetics. Dr. Sutera has a strong value for advanced multidisciplinary dentistry. He has completed post graduate education programs in the fields of dental anesthesiology , smile aesthetics , dental implantology , TMJ , and oral surgery . He believes a multidisciplinary expertise and knowledge allows for the highest level of dental treatment, reconstruction, and maintenance.
