The story of a mother-daughter duo whose desert home became a destination detox retreat. Like most of us, Susana Belen was not always the role model of holistic health that she is today. But, when young Susana found herself divorced with four children to care for, she chose to direct her anxiety toward the quest for a better life. Searching for the answer to her physical symptoms of stress, Susana grew perplexed that doctors seemed unable to help her and she began traveling the world in an attempt to learn from ancient cultures. She met with Shamans in Peru, studied yoga in Thailand, breathwork in India, nutrition in Greece, spirituality in Egypt, and juicing in Mexico. The more knowledge she acquired the more she realized the missing pieces in modern health. As she began incorporating pieces of ancient wisdom into her life she started noticing improvements in her physical, mental, and spiritual health. An inner voice then urged Susana to begin teaching Yoga, and she started witnessing
