So Hee is a board-certified adult & geriatric nurse practitioner, owner, and medical director of SKIM Medical Spa. She was an ICU nurse for over a decade, then attained her DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) at University of Washington in 2017 and has been specialized in neurology since. During her career as a neurology nurse practitioner, she was subspecialized in headache, orofacial dystonia, hemifacial spasm, and cervical dystonia, treating patients with various neurotoxins such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Myoblac. From her academic background and clinical experiences, she acquired extensive knowledge and expertise in face, head and neck anatomy, and treating headache disorders, TMJ pain, cervical dystonia, and myofascial pain. While she was working as a highly respected neurology nurse practitioner, she was fascinated by the fact that neurotoxins are one of the most effective treatments for all above conditions and additionally provide cosmetic benefits with scientific evidence.
