Dr. Kristina McAteer is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She is also the founder, owner, and medical director of Oceanside Medical and an associate professor at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. McAteer brings over two decades of experience in high-acuity medicine to her innovative, patient-centered practice. Originally from upstate New York, Dr. McAteer moved to Rhode Island in 1994 to attend Brown University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She went on to work in public health before pursuing her medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, graduating in 2005. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital and has been caring for patients in Rhode Island ever since.
