NPS Wellness & Aesthetics began as Nurse Practitioner Services of Michiana in May 2021 — born from one provider s unwavering desire to practice medicine differently. After years working in the ER, occupational medicine, house call medicine, hospital medicine, and internal medicine, Stephanie Kertes, NP-C, recognized a truth that most patients already knew: the 15-minute appointment wasn t enough. NPS launched as an insurance-based house call practice, bringing personalized care directly to patients in their homes. About two years in, it was time to put down roots, and a physical office space became the next chapter in the practice. In early spring 2023, vitamin IV therapy, vitamin injections, and medical weight loss were added — and by June 2024, after navigating inconsistent insurance reimbursements, Stephanie transitioned NPS to a private-pay model.
