“I’ve been immersed in the study and practice of hormones and hormone replacement therapies for more than 30 years. “In the early 1990’s, I began prescribing bioidentical hormones. I realized that I was unable to achieve hormonal optimization in most patients using synthetic preparations and I was concerned about long term safety with synthetics. With bioidentical hormone replacement I am able to customize treatments to individual needs. Assisting patients in achieving wellness and optimal hormone balance is incredibly rewarding.” Dr. Wilson is a magna cum laude graduate from Charleston Southern University. She earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the Phoenix Integrated Residencies in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Phoenix, AZ, before moving back to South Carolina to practice.
